Thank you for using Forwdly (“the App”).
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
Forwdly processes SMS messages only to perform the forwarding rules that you configure.
Depending on your forwarding destination, message content may be:
Forwarded as an SMS using Apple’s Shortcuts app.
Sent to your configured Slack Incoming Webhook.
Sent to your configured Microsoft Teams webhook.
Sent to your configured Discord webhook.
Opened in WhatsApp using a WhatsApp deep link for you to complete the send.
Forwdly does not permanently store the contents of your messages unless you explicitly choose to save them through a feature provided by the App.
The App stores your forwarding rules on your device. These rules may include:
Sender filters
Keyword filters
Destination settings
Webhook URLs
Other forwarding preferences
These settings are stored locally on your device unless future cloud synchronization features are introduced.
Forwdly may request permission to:
Access Shortcuts/App Intents functionality
Store local application data
Open external applications such as WhatsApp
Access network connections for webhook delivery
The App only uses these permissions to provide its intended functionality.
Information is used solely to:
Process your forwarding rules
Deliver forwarded messages
Maintain your preferences
Improve app reliability
Diagnose technical issues
When you configure forwarding destinations, your messages are transmitted to the services you choose.
These may include:
Apple Messages
Slack
Microsoft Teams
Discord
Your use of these services is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
Most app data remains on your device.
Webhook requests are transmitted only when forwarding messages to services that you have configured.
We do not operate servers that permanently store your SMS content.
Forwdly may collect anonymous diagnostic information, crash reports, or usage statistics to improve app stability and performance.
This information does not intentionally include the content of your SMS messages.
Forwdly is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We take reasonable measures to protect information stored by the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
You may:
Edit or delete forwarding rules at any time.
Remove webhook destinations.
Delete the App to remove locally stored configuration.
Disable the associated Apple Shortcut or Message Automation at any time.
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Any changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date.
