Scholarship Application

Application for Spring 2026 scholarship is now open and due 3/15!

The For The Love Of The Game Scholarship is an award of $1,000, granted to one graduating senior from Mason High School. The award is in honor of Mason High School graduate Zachary Borgemenke '10 who had a passion for sports and served as a manager on the football and baseball team.

This scholarship honors the lasting impact of dedication, leadership, and perseverance through sports. It is designed to support student-athletes, managers, and others in support roles who have shown discipline, teamwork, and resilience both on and off the field—especially those who may not be receiving athletic scholarships but who have benefited deeply from their athletic experiences. 

Recipients exemplify leadership, integrity, and a commitment to balancing academics, sports, and service to others. This scholarship is awarded to a recipient who demonstrates a genuine passion for athletics, strong character, academic commitment, and a desire to positively impact their community.
