Our mission is to honor the legacy of Zach by supporting local high school seniors who share his love for sports by providing college tuition assistance.
Through academic scholarships, we support their college aspirations, celebrate the dedication and leadership they bring to their teams, and raise awareness of type-1 diabetes.
History
Zach graduated from Mason High School in 2010, where he proudly served as the football team manager his senior year. He went on to earn his degree in Sports Management from the College of Mount St. Joseph in 2014. A lifelong sports fan, Zach especially loved cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and dedicating his time to supporting high school athletics. He contributed to programs at Mason, St. Xavier, and Little Miami, where he announced games, recorded film, and kept statistics.
Beyond sports, Zach had a heart for service. For many years, he volunteered as a camp counselor at Camp Joy in Clarksville, Ohio, helping young people navigate life with type 1 diabetes. He was also his siblings’ biggest supporter, always ready to encourage them at games—or start a spontaneous backyard baseball match.
This organization was created to honor Zach’s memory by continuing his spirit of dedication, generosity, and love for sports. Through scholarships, we support local high school seniors who, like Zach, work tirelessly behind the scenes as team managers, helping them pursue their college dreams while keeping his legacy alive.
