Formby Running Club Affiliations

As we are a collective, some of our members are affiliated to other England Athletics registered local running clubs e.g. Mersey Tri, Southport Waterloo AC, Southport Strollers, Marsh Lane Harriers, Kirkby Milers etc.. or informal running groups (mainly managed through Facebook) such as Ainsdale Stormers, Formby Stormers (ladies only), Pinewoods Wednesday, We Run (part of MGym) etc..

parkrun:  FRC are formally listed with parkrun! That means you can add FRC to your parkrun profile, so each time you complete a parkrun (anywhere in the World) your statistics e.g. times, age group ranking, locations etc.., are linked and saved to FRC. To add FRC to your parkrun Profile sign-in HERE (parkrun ID [your barcode number], and password needed), and select the Group button.

Strava: We have our own Strava Club. Please feel free to join.

RunABC:  We are formally listed as a Merseyside based (Northern) running club with RunABC.

Maverick Run Project (MRP):  We're an affiliated member club of MRP. This brings multiple benefits to our members. Note conditions apply to this in that you must run regularly with our club at least once each month to qualify. A separate MRP registration sign-up process is in place - if interested please contact Peter Heron:

• 10% off any Maverick trail running races, 

• Our club members have the option to individually register (become affiliated) with England Athletics (EA). There is a standard affiliation charge imposed by EA of £19 (as at 2025). Your individual affiliation would register you as being affiliated to MRP.
