Biography

Hi, I'm Lauren Zimmerman – Softball Athlete & Aspiring Coach. I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada, where my love for softball took root at a young age. I played at McQueen High School as a four-year varsity starter and was honored to be named a Second Team All-Region infielder. After high school, I pursued my dream of playing college softball at Chadron State College, where I also earned a spot as a four-year starter. My 16+ years of experience in this game have shaped not only my physical skills but also my appreciation for the mental strength this sport demands. Softball has taught me that success isn't just about performance on the field; it's about showing up with confidence, resilience, and a positive mindset. As I take the next step in my journey, my passion lies in helping athletes grow both physically and mentally. I want to guide the next generation not only in sharpening their skills but in becoming true students of the game. I'm earning my degree in Secondary Education with a focus in Mathematics, along with a minor in Coaching. I can't wait to empower young athletes, share what I’ve learned, and continue growing right alongside them.

• Led my team in overall batting average for 3 years, and led my senior year for conference batting average
