Dustin Thompson

Biography

My name is Dustin Thompson, and I am 24 years old. I currently serve as the student manager for the women’s softball team at the university of Nevada. I have a long history in baseball and softball. I have coached youth sports now for over 6 years including various sports such as baseball, basketball and softball. I’m a former high school baseball coach at Nevada Union high school. As well, I am an alum of the USA U-18 and USA U-23 men’s fastpitch teams.

I teach Hitting, Defense, and pitching for both softball and baseball. I am currently pursuing my degree at the University of Nevada with the goal of transitioning into a collegiate softball coaching position.

• USA U-18 & U-23 Fastpitch Softball alum. 

• NAFA A-Division Champion and MVP. 

• Currently play on a top 20 team in the World for Men’s Fastpitch. 

• All Conference and All Region team at Valley High school. 2025 Mountain West Champions with University of Nevada
