Any good gaming company has a team of great developers behind them. We're not sure if we're there yet, but we're certainly trying our best! All of our team members have been close friends for years, spending time playing games together and surviving after high school. That is, until some genius had the bright idea to make a game ourselves...
Hey, I was the one to propose the idea of making a game company. SoS is my little brain baby, and I've worked quite a bit on Deep Spacin' as well. I used to build fun little games and worlds in my free time, so I decided I might as well put that to use and share it with real people outside my little friend group. SoS was just the first one, so I'm sure there'll be plenty more where that came from. My biggest fear is puppets and unsettling dolls, my cat is named after a president, and apparently, I drink a "concerning" amount of milk. Hopefully, this works out for all of us, and I can continue sharing my passion with those who enjoy experiencing it.
I have no idea how to do these things...
Hey! My name's Aidan, and I'm one of the Founders of Forever Marsh. A lot of this started when Quin vaguely mentioned the idea of Soldiers of Steele, and we kind of just ran with it. It's hard to say when it went from "silly summer project" to "big-boy legal company" but somewhere along that route I picked up a passion for making games. While I had a hand in a very large percentage of SoS's mechanics, Deep Spacin' is my baby: a thinly veiled homage to my sci-fi obsessed childhood. I've been creating worlds, and editing rule-books since I was in middle school, so it only tracks I find a way to make a career out of it. I've played tabletop games ever since I was seven, when my father, who is an original basement-dwelling D&D nerd, decided to change my life forever. Since then I've tried to implement the things I've learned from TTRPG's into every aspect of my life; even when teaching middle schoolers in my day job. I prefer my coffee decaf, and carry with me a deep unrealized desire to be on an episode of Dimension 20.
Hey there! I'm the developer of Palette Quest and primary graphic and layout designer for all of our projects. As the only one with knowledge in the publishing sphere, I end up in charge of editing and all the minutia required to "create" on a professional level (fun things like font licensing and page dimensions). Soldiers of Steele sort of opened the door for us as a friend group. Suddenly, ideas we had for new game systems felt like something we could make reality. We're a support system, filling in the gaps in each others' skill sets and encouraging new creation. Of course, like any group of twenty-somethings, it can be hard to keep everyone on track to finish everything in time - especially when they're creatives that want to focus on just creating - so I end up herding a lot of cats (I wouldn't want it any other way). I'm a cozy gamer at my core and love opportunities for colorful and bizarre world-building. My experience with ASD (Autism) has shaped the way I look at the world and interact with my interests, which is reflected in the focus and goals of the games I create. I love animals, storytelling, and spending time with my friends. More than anything, I'm grateful to have this opportunity to do something I love with the people I love. Thanks, guys.
Hey, you! Yes, you! I'm your friendly Co-Founder and Lore Boy of Forever Marsh. I've worked across the company on many of our well-known titles. With the assistance of my fellow founders, I inject ideas and stories into each project to further enrich our systems. I live in a small hovel with my fiancée, Emily, and my two mischievous children, Echo and Jasper. They may or may not be quadrupedal and covered in fur, but that's not something the government needs to know for my tax returns. (For legal reasons, I must clarify that's a joke.) But in the end, I'm just a humble Lore Boy, lending a hand wherever needed in story and in life.
Welcome newcomers! I'm friends with the crew and happen to be going to college for marketing, so when I heard about Forever Marsh I knew I wanted to help. Although I am a recently discovered nerd of tabletop roleplay games I am very excited to be helping out friends with marketing their idea and helping myself by learning to market as we go. Some fun facts, I have an orange cat named after the orange soda Shasta and a dog named Lily after Lily Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries. I have always had a passion for social media and marketing, hence why I am going to school for it, and I am now happy to have my first marketing experience with my friends.
