Set goals/vision for the school year(s) 

Set up calendar for the school year including events, clubs, PTA meetings, etc. / coordinate with district calendar 

Establish meeting agendas, lead meetings, drive agenda

Attend monthly District Super Intendent meetings and report updates at general PTA meetings 

Monitor the budget - monthly review/approval of financial statements, budget comparison and bank documents 

Co-signer on PTA bank account

Facilitate all reservations, work with the district to establish standing contracts 

Define structure for committees, seek out committee chair volunteers, oversee committee chairs/act as liaison 

Assist with coordinating volunteers, hands-on with events where needed 

Attend monthly District Super Intendent meetings as needed and report updates at general PTA meetings 

Act as President, if needed

Draft meeting minutes for all public meetings, submit to PTA board for review/publishing 

Assist with management of PTA email inbox and other communications, as needed 

Submit bylaws to Iowa PTA

Prepare/manage the annual budget within Money Minder, compare actuals to budget on monthly basis 

Provide monthly financial statements, budget comparison and bank statements to Presidents for review/approval

Provide monthly financial statements for all public meetings 

Provide all financial records for annual audit 

Handle any petty cash needed for events
