Our new project “PangenomeBeech” together with Ivan Scotti from INRAE Avignon got granted! In this project we want to elucidate the role of structural genetic variation in adaptative differentiation and study the effects of genotype-environment interactions in two parallel common gardens in France and Germany.

After major revisions during a highly constructive review process our paper “Genomic variation of European beech reveals signals of local adaptation despite high levels of phenotypic plasticity” is finally online at Nature Communications (Lazic et al. 2024). Thanks to everybody involved!
