In cotillion we teach your children to dance a variety of basic ballroom dances, including the waltz, foxtrot, swing, and more. We practice good manners and teach etiquette lessons in an enjoyable and structured environment. Each class has a different theme. Please dress in formal attire unless otherwise stated.
Grade Levels:
Beginner Class: Grades 3-8
Intermediate Class: Grades 9-12

5:00-6:00 PM: Beginner dance lesson
6:00-6:30 PM: Refreshments and etiquette lesson for all grade levels
6:30-7:30: Intermediate dance lesson
7:30-8:00 PM: Open dance time for all grade levels
8:00-8:15 PM: Clean-up and departure

Formal Attire:
Boys: Nice pants, collared shirt, and hard-soled shoes. Coat and tie are optional, but encouraged.
Girls: Party dress or skirt or dress pants with blouse and flat dress shoes that are easy to dance in. Gloves are optional.
Cost:
Every parent needs to volunteer to provide refreshments (finger foods, beverages, paper goods) for at least one event. Non-paying families may be asked to volunteer more than once if there are not enough volunteers. As an alternative, the cost is $10 per child/per class or $50 per child for the whole year.
