We're starting a community garden!

We are establishing a community garden on the vacant lots of Compton and Desota. The intent of this project is to meaningfully engage with the local community and establish practices for communal governance. We want to use this project:

• To create a nurturing and enriching space within the community.

• To connect with neighbors.

• To establish practices of communal governance. 

Our hope is that this project will strengthen the activities, membership, and mission of the Forest City Community Land Trust so that our organization can grow into more ambitious projects in the future.
