Students now have the option to opt out of finals based off of the following criteria:

• The student must have a grade of 70% or higher in the class

• The student cannot have been assigned ISS or any administrator assigned after-school detention at any point during the semester

• The student cannot have been suspended out-of-school

• The student can have the following attendance percentage:

  • 100% attendance opt out of all finals

  • 99% attendance opt out of six finals

  • 98% attendance opt out of five finals

  • 97% attendance opt out of four finals

  • 96% attendance opt out of three finals

The policy is deemed as a reward and not a punishment. Therefore, no exceptions will be allowed.
