Head Coach Jose "Vito" Becerra

I am pleased to introduce myself as the new Wrestling Coach at Foothill High School. I have been involved in the sport a wrestling for most of my adult life; as a competitor, and as a coach.  Most recently, I held the position as the Assistant Wrestling Coach at Santa Ana College for two decades and continue to be an active participant in assisting that program to date. As I approach the verge of retiring from my full-time career in law enforcement, I am excited and looking forward to this new challenge as a Wrestling Coach here at Foothill High School.  My objective is to introduce our student athletes to man’s greatest and oldest sport, with the objective being to elevate the experience by teaching invaluable lifelong lessons such as dedication, commitment, teamwork, and the value of hard work to achieve a common goal. I also understand that to accomplish all of this we have to have fun! But I also know that it is important and imperative to have success too. And success means WINNING.

Assistant Coach Jason Arreola

Coach Arreola wrestled collegiately at York University and Santa Ana College.  At Santa Ana College, Arreola was an All-American with a 4th place finish at the state tournament in 2009.  At York University, Arreola was a two-time NAIA National qualifier and two-time NAIA All-American.

Assistant Coach Jeremy Huang

Coach Huang is a Santa Ana College alumni. He was the 2018 CCCAA State place winner and team captain.  He wrestled for San Francisco State University.  In High School he was a two-time CIF Masters qualifier and CACC wrestling sixth-place finisher.  He has been a high school coach for 6 years.
