Here we provide you a platform to compete and exhibit your entrepreneurial skills with your vast knowledge in food industry. This is the call of the hour to bring all your hidden cravings to the real life. So register, take part and Xplore yourself.

So you're ready to take the first step! Find a teammate, give your team a fantastic name and rock the stage.After a successful registration, look for your suitable raw material(select any one raw material provided in the basket) in the updates given below with which you are asked to develop a palatable product.

NOTE: ALL THE VIDEOS, POWER POINTS AND PLANT LAYOUT MODELS FOR THE RESPECTIVE LEVELS SHOULD BE BROUGHT PREPARED DURING THE EVENT. NO TIME WILL BE ALLOTTED FOR THE PREPARATION.

LEVEL 1: ELEVATOR PITCH

On the day of FOODXPLORE'17 you will be asked to present your pitch in front of the judges which will be a preliminary event. The elevator pitch is a short, creative and to the point overview of your idea about the product. The pitch has to address the following questions:

  • What is the focus of your big idea?
  • What is the rationale for selecting the product?
  • What is significant about your product?

Competitors with their unique products enter the next round.

RULES:

  • Your pitch has to be gracefully creative.
  • The competitor can opt any way of presentation via videos or power points or oration.
  • The duration of the pitch should not exceed 2 mins.

LEVEL 2: EXHIBITION OF PLANT LAYOUT

After your successful elevator pitch, competitors will be asked to exhibit their plant layout. The competitor has to explain about the process and machinery used in the manufacturing of their product.

RULES:

  • The layout can be exhibited via any visualizable model preferably 3D cad models
  • Time duration for explaining your unique plant layout should not exceed 3 mins.

LEVEL 3: MARKETING

The shortlisted competitors will enter the final round. It's time to make an impact on the audience through advertising your products. The audience are the judges.

RULES:

  • Your marketing can be with creative videos or you can also enact.
  • Time limit for this section should not exceed 2-3 mins
