Maxima has and continues to work with Adelaide City Council in the provision of hosted trainees and apprentices. During the years of from 2016-2018, Maxima ran initially Jobs First Employments Programs for long term unemployed jobseekers to provide training in the field of horticulture and also used this site for practical training for trades based apprentices.
Through a partnership MOU, Maxima carried out practical training for a number of accredited units, as part of their required hours to be accrued in practical training. This covered off principally the following activities:
Weed Control – Turf management – Irrigation
Plant revegetation – Plant Identification – Machinery operation
In 2008 Maxima Training Services closed down its RTO and ceased training in the field of Horticulture. Park 25 was handed back to Adelaide City Council and ceased maintaining this space.
