Faith Guitars are handmade in West Java, Indonesia in a large workshop – not on a factory production line. With a staff of around 80, each guitar is given individual attention by trained luthiers who know and understand guitars. They’re very proud of their workshop, as it has produced so many beautiful guitars over the years, and continues to grow in both capacity and capability.
They endeavour to think about sustainability in all that they do. A great deal of their tonewood (Mahogany, Ebony, Rosewood, Trembesi, Mango) is locally sourced in Indonesia with SVLK certification for each package of wood purchased from timber merchants. They do not use endangered timbers, nor does the workshop purchase from unregulated suppliers.

Brotherton's in Bishop Auckland is one of the oldest independent music shops in the United Kingdom, with a history dating back to 1842. Located at 205. Newgate Street, it remains a family run business specialising in musical instruments, professional audio equipment.
The business was established over 180 years ago, making it a cornerstone of the regional music scene selling sheet music and musical instruments.
Brotherton and Son Bishop Auckland Limited was officially incorporated on the 12th of February 1964.
Throughout the mid 20th century, the shop was a local hub for buying vinyl records. It was famous for its listening booths where customers could sample the latest singles and albums before buying.
Beyond retail, the building has supported the wider music community, such as hosting Wildwood Studios, a recording studio that opened above the shop in 2019.
