Due to some of our Folk Club members being affected by Prostate Cancer, I decided to organise a couple of fundraising events for Prostate Cancer UK.

With that, certain members of the line up decided to share their stories. 

One of the line up said "This is real fellas..... whatever you do, don't think "it won't happen to me"....it can creep up without symptoms!

We're putting on this little show to raise some money for the charity, and as part of the evening there will be a couple of brief (very brief) stories from experience to encourage awareness and testing - to stress the importance of peace of mind.  

Not all  cases need intervention, but if it does - the earlier the better "
