The Folger's monthly "Shake Up Your Saturdays" program lets families experience Shakespeare’s language through fun activities involving words, lines, and short scenes. For docents, it's an opportunity to kindle a love for Shakespeare in youngsters who may not have encountered him before.
Each month's program features a different theme related to the season of the year, the current exhibit, or an ongoing Theatre production.
Family programs are the first Saturday of the month.
Ages 4-7 meet from 10 to 11 AM
Ages 7 to 11 meet from 11 AM to 12 PM.
Please meet at 9:30am to prep for the program with the team.
Docents interested in leading a program should contact Kate Haase (khaase@folger.edu); those who would like to be a helper should contact John Finedore (jphfinedore@verizon.net).
