The philosophy of the Fort Osage Dance Team is to promote and uphold school spirit among students, parents, and other sports’ fans. This is in an effort to build positive relationships between schools during athletic events, through good sportsmanship. A Fort Osage Dancer will be expected to perform and entertain audiences through precision dances and boost the morale and spirit of the school. Dancers will maintain this philosophy by improving personal dancing abilities such as technique, showmanship and self-discipline, as well as, developing self-character and leadership skills. It is the Fort Osage Dance Team purpose to represent Fort Osage High School in a manner that will reflect positively upon the school, community and members of this team.
