FocusLog Privacy Policy

FocusLog ("the app") is an ADHD symptom tracking app for iPhone. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. The short version: your data stays on your device. We do not collect it, see it, sell it, or use it for advertising.
DATA THE APP STORES
FocusLog stores the information you enter daily symptom check-ins (focus, impulsivity, emotional regulation, restlessness, task initiation), medication names, doses and times, sleep, exercise, caffeine, stress, optional menstrual cycle information, optional profile details (first name, age, gender, hormone stage, diagnosis status), and optional notes. All of this is saved locally on your iPhone only, using Apple's on-device storage. FocusLog has no user accounts, no cloud sync, and no server. We (the developer) have no access to any of it.
APPLE HEALTH (HEALTHKIT)
If you choose to connect Apple Health, FocusLog reads your exercise minutes and workout sessions (read-only) to show how physical activity relates to your symptoms. This is optional the app works fully without it, and you can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.
Health data is processed on your device only. In accordance with Apple's requirements: HealthKit data is never used for advertising, marketing, or data mining; never sold to data brokers; and never shared with third parties. FocusLog does not write any data to Apple Health.
DATA LEAVING YOUR DEVICE
Data leaves your device only when you export it: generating a doctor report (PDF) or a CSV export creates a file that you choose to share. Where that file goes is entirely under your control.
SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTS
Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.
WHAT WE DO NOT DO
No analytics or tracking SDKs. No advertising. No selling or sharing of data. No collection of health information by the developer. No storage of personal health information in iCloud.
NOTIFICATIONS
If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to us.
DATA DELETION
You can erase everything at any time via Settings > Delete all data inside the app, or by deleting the app from your iPhone. Because the data exists only on your device, deletion is immediate and complete.
CHILDREN
FocusLog is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children.

FocusLog is a tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your doctor about medication and treatment decisions.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
