Getting Started
Download and Install
Download Focus CEO from the App Store
2 Launch the app and complete the onboarding process
3 Grant Screen Time permission when prompted (required for app blocking)
First Focus Session
Navigate to the FOCUS tab (center tab)
2 Select your desired focus duration using the slider
3 Tap "Start Focus" to begin your session
4 Stay focused and earn virtual currency
5 Complete the session to receive your earnings
Creating Scheduled Sessions
Navigate to the Session tab
2 Tap the "+" button to create a new session
3 Set session name, start time, duration, and repeat days
4 Optionally assign a custom allow list
5 Sessions will start automatically at the scheduled time
Building Your Empire
Complete focus sessions to earn virtual currency
2 Navigate to the Business tab to view available businesses
3 Purchase businesses with your earned balance
4 Businesses generate income automatically during focus sessions
5 Purchase upgrades to increase income rates
Troubleshooting
Common Issues: App Won't Start Focus Session
Ensure Screen Time permissions are granted in iOS Settings
Check that you're not already in a focus session
Restart the app if the issue persists
Screen Time Not Working
Go to Settings > Screen Time
Ensure Focus CEO has permission to manage app limits
Check that Screen Time is enabled on your device
Balance Not Updating
Balance updates automatically during focus sessions
Check that you completed a focus session
Ensure the session wasn't canceled early
Restart the app to refresh your balance display
Scheduled Sessions Not Starting
Verify the session is enabled (not disabled)
Check that today is one of the selected repeat days
Ensure the current time is within the session time window
Check that the session wasn't canceled today
Businesses Not Generating Income
Businesses only generate income during active focus sessions
Verify that your businesses are properly purchased
Check that you have an active focus session running
Income is calculated based on your business income rate
Allow List Not Working
Ensure Screen Time permission is granted
Verify the allow list has apps selected
Check that the allow list is assigned to your session
Default allow list is used if no custom list is selected
Subscription Management:
Subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store
Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
