Welcome to Focentra. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Focentra mobile application (“App”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. About Focentra

Focentra is a productivity application designed to help users improve focus by identifying and limiting access to distracting apps during user-initiated focus sessions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By using Focentra, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. How the App Works

Focentra allows users to:

• Select apps they consider distracting

• Start focus sessions

• Temporarily block or limit access to selected apps

• View estimated time saved based on device usage data

The App works only when permissions are granted and active sessions are running.

4. Permissions

To provide its functionality, Focentra may request the following permissions:

• Usage Access: To identify frequently used apps and estimate time spent

• Display Over Other Apps: To block selected apps during focus sessions

• Foreground Service / Notifications: To maintain active focus sessions

Optional:

• Accessibility Service (if enabled by the user): To improve blocking reliability and responsiveness

You can revoke permissions at any time via device settings. Doing so may affect app functionality.

5. No Guarantee of Results

Focentra is a tool to assist with focus and productivity. We do not guarantee:

• Improved productivity

• Behavioral changes

• Complete prevention of distractions

Results vary based on individual usage.

6. User Responsibility

You agree to:

• Use the App only for personal productivity purposes

• Not misuse, modify, or attempt to bypass the App’s functionality

• Not use the App in a way that violates applicable laws

7. Data & Privacy

Focentra is designed with a privacy-first approach.

• We do not sell your personal data

• Most data is processed locally on your device

• Any data collection is described in our Privacy Policy

8. Subscription & Payments (if applicable)

Certain features of Focentra may require a paid subscription.

• Payments are processed via Google Play

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled

• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Google Play account

Refunds are subject to Google Play policies.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Focentra is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Any loss of data

• Device issues

• Indirect or consequential damages

• Productivity or behavioral outcomes

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if:

• These Terms are violated

• Required by law

You may stop using the App at any time.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be reflected by the “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
