TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions govern all photography services provided by [Focal Point Photography] ("the Photographer", "we", "us") to the client ("you", "the Client"). By booking a photography session, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.

1. Booking & Deposit

1.1 A non-refundable deposit of R200 is required to secure any booking.

1.2 No booking will be confirmed or reserved until the deposit has been received.

1.3 The deposit confirms your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

2. Payment of Balance

2.1 The remaining balance is due in full on the day of the shoot, prior to or immediately after the session, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.2 Failure to pay the outstanding balance on the day of the shoot will result in:

• No images being delivered or released to the Client.

• The forfeiture of the R200 deposit.

2.3 Images will only be delivered once full payment has been received and cleared.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

3.1 Last-minute cancellations will result in the deposit being forfeited.

3.2 The deposit is strictly non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

3.3 Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be requested in advance. Approval of rescheduling is at the Photographer’s discretion.

4. Transportation & Location Fees

4.1 For location shoots outside the Photographer’s base area, a transportation fee will apply.

4.2 Transportation fees start from R100 and increase depending on the distance and location of the shoot.

4.3 The transportation fee will be communicated to the Client prior to the shoot and must be paid together with the remaining balance.

5. Image Delivery

5.1 Image delivery timelines will be communicated to the Client after the shoot.

5.2 The Photographer retains the right to withhold images until full payment has been made.

5.3 No raw, unedited images will be provided unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.

6. Photographer’s Rights

6.1 The Photographer retains creative control over the editing style, composition, and final output of all images.

6.2 The Photographer reserves the right to use images for portfolio, website, and promotional purposes unless the Client requests otherwise in writing prior to the shoot.

7. Client Responsibilities

7.1 The Client agrees to cooperate and follow reasonable direction during the shoot.

7.2 Delays caused by the Client may reduce shooting time and will not result in a refund or discount.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 While every effort is made to deliver high-quality images, the Photographer shall not be held liable for circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to weather conditions, equipment failure, or unforeseen events.

9. Acceptance of Terms

9.1 Payment of the deposit constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

9.2 These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time without prior notice.
