SRT Tunneling Guide

Step 1:Finding The Local IPV4 IP Address

Do this on the receiver(the device you want to stream the OBS to):

1. Go to the search bar(windows key or top right magnifying glass icon on mac) and type CMD or Powershell(Windows) or Terminal(Mac) then press enter to open the command prompt

2. In the command prompt type(or paste) the following:                      ipconfig

3. The IPV4 address is the one across from the "IPv4 Address" name under the "wireless LAN adapter wifi" category

4. Copy the IPv4

Step 2:Creating the sender and receiver nodes

For the receiver(the device you want to stream the OBS to):

5. Create a new "media source" source in OBS and uncheck the "local file" box

6. In the "input" box copy and paste the following:

srt://

7. Put the specific IPv4 address

8. Paste the following after the ending:                                      :22222?mode=listener

Step 2:Creating the sender and receiver

For the sender(the device you want to stream the OBS from):

9. Click on "file" then "settings

10. Click on the "stream" tab

11. Change the service to custom at the top

12. In the "server" box paste the following:                                 srt://

13. Put the specific IPv4 Address

14. Paste the following:                                                                     :22222?mode=caller
