Hazardous materials response is a dangerous and challenging field. It takes training and practice to maintain proficiency. The HMRT makes a huge investment in each of the members in the form of training, equipment and time. While the FNSB HMRT remains solely a volunteer team, members are expected to train to a level that maintains required proficiencies and skills. The Officer Staff is dedicated to providing safe, realistic, challenging training for our members.
