Five Nights at Freddy's is known for its quick releases, but they may have gone too far this time. Ahead of its February release date, FNaF World, a Five Nights at Freddy's spin-off RPG, was released last week.
FNaF World Freddy Fazbear is the game's protagonist and one of the game's eight starting characters. He was inspired by Freddy's appearance in Freddy's Nightmares.
If you're looking for FNAF World Characters, you've come to the right place.
This came as no surprise to fans, given Scott Cawthon's blistering development pace and proclivity for releasing ahead of schedule. What was surprising, however, was how incomplete FNaF World appeared to be.
Cawthon agrees wholeheartedly with this assessment.
He wrote in a Steam Community post, "I've been accused of rushing my games since FNaF 1, but I've never felt like I've released a game too early... until now."
“I was so focused on showing off the things that were finished that I forgot about the things that weren't.”
Cawthon said he felt he owed the community an awkward admission, and that he'll be adding much-requested features in the coming weeks.
“Please accept my apologies. I'll keep improving the game and adding new features,” he added.
Cawthon immediately started upgrading FNaF World, and the RPG now has a new overworld map, attack command descriptions, and Byte and Chips descriptions in the appropriate menus. See what I mean? There are times, however, when a rapid development cycle is beneficial.
