Mr. Murdock worked at the Detroit Institute of Arts while an undergrad at Wayne State. Started collecting art during this era because he was around a lot of art students from Wayne State and Center for Creative Studies. Have many close friends who are artists. Whenever he visits a new city he makes sure to visit the local Art Museums.
Ms. Zold is a social studies and AVID elective teacher at FMS. Ms. Zold's mom was an art teacher, and growing up she spent many hours drawing and experimenting with color in her art. Ms. Zold's earliest childhood memories include making projects and sculptures out of found objects in her house. She loves to spend time at Detroit's world-class art museum, the DIA, as well as experiencing art in the cities she visits. Ms. Zold is currently close to finishing her third paint-by-number piece, made from a photograph she took on vacation in Europe. If you email her she will show it to you.

Mr. Seth Petty serves as the proud principal of Ferndale Middle School. His oldest sister was a painter, and sketch artist. She developed his appreciation for the talents of artists. He loves art!

Your work of art has the potential to express to future generations your lens of this time that we know as the year 2020."
