Francis Mora Ferreras

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Mathematics at the Universitat de València under the supervision of advisor Ramón Esteban Romero.

My main areas of interest include algebra, group theory, skew braces, Yang-Baxter equation, representations of finite groups, and algebraic topology.

 I am also an assistant professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo and Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña. 

I graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo in 2019, and worked on my undergraduate thesis under the direction of Kreemly Pérez, titled "A Topological Proof of Cauchy's Theorem" (homological version). During my undergraduate studies, I was part of the group of algebra and group theory directed by Orieta Liriano.  After completing my undergraduate studies, I went to Chile to pursue a Master's in Science at the Universidad de Talca where I learned about representation theory and complex reflection groups under the supervision of Stephen Griffeth, with whom I completed my master thesis titled "The Classification of Unitary Reflection Groups".
