PERCOLATION
PERCOLATION:
Percolation is the process of liquids filtering through porous material, such as soil. In this case, water is percolating through coffee grounds. Those of us who are coffee addicts, like myself, use the process of percolation every day.
These photos reflect the before and after of percolation as well as the result of this specific percolation process. A pour-over coffee would be another great example of a percolation process.

CONDENSATION
CONDENSATION:
Condensation is the process where water vapor becomes liquid, essentially the reverse of evaporation.
Here condensation can be observed on this luxurious glassware item (Mrs. Renfro salsa jars) due to the temperature difference between the water in the glass and the air temperature. Warm air hits the cold surface of the glass and condenses to form water droplets.
