A: Yes. FlushVolt is compatible with Gyp-Crete pours up to 1.5". Follow the alternate tab placement instructions in the install guide for best results.
Q: Is FlushVolt code compliant?
A: FlushVolt is a mounting and concealment system designed to hold a standard old-work-style electrical box. The electrical box and wiring must be installed according to local code by a licensed professional. FlushVolt itself does not carry a separate UL listing.
Q: How do I find the box after flooring is installed?
A: Our magnetic locator tool makes it quick and accurate to find the box position and align the routing template—even under thick flooring.
Q: Can I reuse the box if I replace my flooring?
A: Yes. The main box stays installed—you’ll just create a new lid from your new flooring using the same template and routing process.
