The origin of the Fluogen species is heavily debated. However, the most common theory is that Fluogen were given life by their two gods. One titled Yxohrnii, the origin of essence and the creator of the first Fluogen. The second being their daughter, Qidaria, The mother of the Fluogens as they are now.

Creation Myth:

The modern civilization of Fluogens has advanced into a vibrant civilization. Their technology allows them to go out into the stars and travel to many other worlds. There they make colonies and live alongside the inhabitants of the planets they find. Their technology has even allowed the creation of pills that drawforth the essence of other species' souls, which allows for crossbreeds. 

Though they may live on many other planets, the planet that produces the living glass to make Fluogens is still seen as their home planet. Any parents living off world make the trek back to their homeworld to create their children. The planet itself is very cold, covered in ice at the poles and glass towards the equator. The molten core of glass warms the planet just enough for Fluogens to live, but not much else. As a result, their main source of food is the plants and trees that do grow among the bits of fertile land. Though some Fluogen choose to create greenhouses of fruits and vegetables they find off planet as well.

Off planet habitation is very popular among Fluogens. There are several forms that this may take. With friendlier planets they will live amongst the other lifeforms on the planet. On planets that are friendly, but untrusting, they make colonies with embassies that trade information with the planets.

In the solar system of the Fluogens there are six planets. Three of them are habitable to the Fluogens. In order from the sun the planets are; Vinviri, Uruta, Lazuthea, Yxohrnia (the Fluogen's home), Ursara, and Rimomia. Vinviri is very hot, covered with sulfuric volcanos. It is not habitable. Uruta is covered in blue jungles with many deep canyons cutting through it, and large geodes dotting it's surface. It is habitable to Fluos, however it is a little too warm for those used to Yxohrnia's climate. Lazuthea is a planet covered almost enirely by oceans. The sea life is colorful and varied. It's a fantastic, but pricy, place for a summer home. As well as the chosen home for many aquatic Fluos. Ursara is the largest planet in the system, however it's ground is too soft to walk on, and it's non-breathable atmosphere and constant storms makes it a difficult place to explore, let alone live. The last habitable planet is Rimomia. Though it has very few lakes and no oceans, there is plenty of water underground. The rest of the planet is covered in orange vegetation and layered red rocks. 

There is no other fully sentient life in their own solar system, though there are many strange animals living on the habitable planets.
