⚠️ SECURITY NOTICE

This app is for educational records. We will never ask for your bank password in the app. Protect your personal privacy and be wary of suspicious offline transactions. Flowremi does not process tuition payments; all financial transactions between teachers and students are conducted outside the app at the users' own risk.

1. Data Collection & Use

We collect the following information to provide core educational services:

• Personal Information: Email address and Name/Username provided during registration.

• Identifiers: We collect and store User IDs (Firebase UID) and a unique Flowremi ID assigned to each account. These are used strictly for account management and to facilitate the teacher-student connection.

• Educational Content: Practice videos, audio, images, lesson logs, and teacher review annotations uploaded by you.

• Technical Data: Device model, OS version, and Crash Logs (collected via Firebase Crashlytics) to monitor app stability and fix bugs.

• Approximate Location: We use IP addresses to display a general location (e.g., "California") on your profile for community context.

2. Data Security & Sharing

• Encryption in Transit: All data collected is transmitted over secure protocols and is encrypted in transit (using SSL/TLS).

• No Data Sharing: We DO NOT share your personal data, videos, or identifiers with any third-party companies for advertising or marketing purposes.

• Non-Ephemeral Processing: Your data is stored securely on our servers (Firebase) to provide historical logs and is not processed ephemerally.

3. Data Retention & Deletion Rights

We believe you should have full control over your data:

• Individual Data Deletion: You may request to delete specific pieces of data (such as an individual practice video or a lesson log) through the application's interface at any time without deleting your entire account.

• Account Deletion: You can select "Delete Account" in the Settings menu. Upon your request, we will permanently remove all personal data and uploaded media from our servers in accordance with our retention policy.

4. Use of Permissions

To enable core functionality, the App requires:

• Camera & Microphone: To record practice/review videos and scan Flowremi ID QR codes.

• Photo Library: To select and upload pre-recorded videos or sheet music.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted service providers to maintain app functionality:

• Firebase (Google): For authentication, encrypted cloud storage, and database services.

• RevenueCat: To manage your Pro subscription status (we do not see or store your credit card details).

6. Children's Privacy

The Application is intended for users aged 13 and above. Minors should use the app only under the supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or authorized teacher. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent.
