Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how FlowDoIt ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the FlowDoIt mobile application (the "App").
This Policy is a publicly available document and is accessible within the App and/or on our support website. We may update this Policy from time to time.
1. Definitions
Personal Data — any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
Processing — any operation performed on data, including collection, storage, use, transmission, disclosure, or deletion.
User — any person who uses the App.
App — the FlowDoIt mobile application available on the App Store.
Voice Input — a feature that allows users to create tasks, habits, or notes by speaking instead of typing.
AI-Powered Speech Processing — the process of converting voice input into text using a third-party AI service.
Local Data — tasks, habits, preferences, reminders, and other content stored locally on the user’s device.
2. Information We Collect
FlowDoIt is designed to minimize data collection.
We do not require users to create an account and we do not collect the following information:
- Name
- Email address
- Account login information
- Contact list
- Photos
- Precise location
- Payment card information
3. Local Data Storage
The App stores user-created data locally on your device, including:
- Tasks
- Habits
- Notes
- App preferences
- Reminder settings
This data is stored on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
We do not operate a user account system and we do not provide cloud synchronization of your personal task or habit data unless this is clearly stated in a future version of the App.
You are responsible for managing data stored on your device. If you delete the App, locally stored data may also be deleted.
4. Voice Input and Third-Party AI Processing
FlowDoIt may provide voice input functionality powered by a third-party AI service provider, Groq API.
When you use the voice input feature, the text transcription of your speech may be sent to Groq API for the purpose of converting speech into text.
Data We May Send:
- Audio input recorded by you when using the voice input feature
- Technical request data required to process the transcription
Data We Do Not Send:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Account identifiers
- Contact list
- Photos
- Precise location
- Payment information
Purpose of Processing:
The voice input data is used only to convert your speech into text and help you create tasks, habits, or related entries in the App.
Data Retention:
We do not store or retain your voice recordings on our servers. Audio data may be temporarily processed by the third-party service provider to provide the transcription feature. Retention by third-party providers is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
User Consent:
Before using voice input, the App may request access to your microphone. By granting microphone permission and using the voice input feature, you allow the App to process your voice input for transcription purposes.
You can disable microphone access at any time in your device settings:
Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone
If you do not grant microphone permission, you can still use manual task and habit entry.
5. Device Permissions
The App may request access to the following device permissions:
Microphone:
Used only for voice input and speech-to-text functionality.
Notifications:
Used to send local reminders for tasks and habits.
The App does not use microphone access in the background. The microphone is used only when you actively use the voice input feature.
Local notifications are generated on your device and do not require sending your personal task or habit data to external servers.
6. Payments and Subscriptions
FlowDoIt may offer paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
All payments are processed securely through Apple’s App Store payment system.
We do not collect, process, or store your payment card information.
Apple may provide us with limited subscription-related information, such as purchase status, subscription status, and transaction identifiers, only as necessary to manage access to paid features.
Please refer to Apple’s privacy policy and App Store terms for information about how Apple processes payment data.
7. Analytics and Tracking
We do not use third-party analytics tools to track your behavior inside the App.
We do not track users across apps or websites.
We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for advertising or tracking purposes.
We do not sell your personal data.
8. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not share your locally stored tasks, habits, notes, or preferences with third parties.
We may share limited data only in the following cases:
- With Groq API, only when you actively use the voice input feature and only for speech-to-text processing
- With Apple, for payment and subscription processing through the App Store
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request
- To protect our rights, safety, users, or the security of the App
9. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13, or under the applicable minimum age in your country or region.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete such information.
10. Data Retention
Most user data is stored locally on your device and remains there until you delete it or delete the App.
We do not store your tasks, habits, notes, or voice recordings on our servers.
Voice input data may be temporarily processed by Groq API to provide transcription functionality. We do not retain voice recordings.
Payment and subscription records are processed by Apple and retained according to Apple’s policies and applicable legal requirements.
11. Your Privacy Choices
You can control your privacy settings at any time:
Microphone Access:
Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone → FlowDoIt
Notifications:
Settings → Notifications → FlowDoIt
Subscriptions:
Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
Delete Local Data:
You can delete tasks, habits, or notes inside the App. You may also delete the App from your device to remove locally stored app data.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data.
Data stored locally is protected by the security features of your device and iOS.
Data transmitted to third-party services, such as Groq API for voice input, is sent using secure network connections where supported.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. International Data Transfers
If you use features that rely on third-party service providers, such as Groq API, your data may be processed in countries other than your country of residence.
When applicable, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by data protection laws.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any changes will be posted within the App, on our support website, or on the App Store page. The updated version will include a new effective date.
Your continued use of the App after changes are posted means that you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
