Invasive Reptile Research Internships

Everglades Invasive Reptile Research Interns acquire valuable experience in 1-year positions (open to anyone, but focused toward recent grads) and work with the US Geological Survey on tegu and python research in Everglades National Park and Big Cypress National Preserve. Depending on the position, interns will gain experience in:

•Wildlife cameras

•Radio telemetry

•Invasive reptile necropsy

2026 Start-date Internships

Although it says last date to apply is 3/30/2022, but will remain open until positions are filled by qualified applicants. Start date is as early as 5/1/2022, but may be set for later for highly qualified applicants. Internships will last 1 year with possibility of extension depending on performance.
