Everglades BioCorps Internships

Internships working in the Everglades with the  National Park Service are available every few months.

The National Park Service–Everglades National Park (https://www.nps.gov/ever/getinvolved/biocorps-internship-program.htm), US Geological Survey, and UF/IFAS are jointly offering seasonal intern positions in the Greater Everglades. A unique opportunity to work alongside staff and gain valuable experience! There are several types of internships available.

Everglades BioCorps Interns acquire valuable experience in either ~8 month (open to anyone, but focused toward recent grads) and summer (~2-3 month, only open to UF students/recent grads). Depending on the position, interns will work with the National Park Service and participate in : 

•Everglades restoration ecology

•Seagrass and benthic monitoring

•Water quality analyses

•Monitoring of wildlife populations such as marine and freshwater fish, sea turtles, crocodilians, and wading birds

•Invasive plant monitoring and removal

•Invasive reptile monitoring and removal

Internships are offered on a rotating schedule and will be posted below.
