Stylometry and psycholinguistics

I have been asked to explain more about our work in authorship attribution about the Molière-Corneille controversy in Science, The Guardian, El Païs, La Vanguardia, La Repubblica, Deutschlandfunk, Le Point, Le Temps, Le Soir, Sciences et avenir,  France Inter, Radio Canada, La Presse,  BFM TV, Le Journal du CNRS, etc.

I was invited to talk about our book on authorship attribution and more generally about the field on RFI, Arte (Journal), as well as in L'Express, Sciences et avenir, or Le Temps. It was reviewed on France Inter (Nicolas Demorand - Journal and Par Jupiter!), in Le Monde, Yahoo!News, Science et Univers, La Voix du Nord etc.

I talked about our work on ADHD detection thanks to stylometry with Sciences et Avenir.

New developments in the case of the kidnapping and murder of the young Grégory V. in 1984 have prompted a number of questions about stylometry used for the case, which I discussed for TF1 (20 h), France Info, AFP,  Science et Vie, Radio Classique etc. I also was interviewed in Christophe Dubois's documentary Affaire Gregory : une enquête sans fin (TF1, 2021).

We explained our work on QAnon, originally published with The New York Times, to the Asahi Shimbun, Libération, Le Canard Enchaîné, France Culture, RFI. Sciences et Avenir, Philosophie magazine, Le Grand Continent etc. It was also reported in Die Zeit, El Païs, La Repubblica, Wired, The Times, The Daily Mail, The Independent, Ha'aretz, Folha de São Paulo, Le Figaro, Courrier International etc.

I  discussed about the forensic application of linguistics and handwriting analysis with Le Point. 

I discussed the scientific expertise about the Ghislaine Marchall / Omar Raddad cold case for a France 2 documentary.

Our work with Jean-Baptiste Camps on the Zodiac Killer is discussed in a documentary on NBC / Peacock, and reported in the Daily Mail, New York Post, San Francisco Examiner,  Yahoo!news, Sciences et Avenir,  on Oxygen True Crime etc.

I have discussed my works on vaccine hesitancy on the BBC, France Info, in Business Insider, Libération, 20 minutes, Pàgina 12, La Arena, Yahoo news UK, Göteborgs Posten, Yule, The Japan Times etc.

I have  spoken about the regulation of social networks with the Huffington Post.

Our findings on the consequences of the government's leaks to the press during the COVID-19 pandemics have been discussed in Marianne.

Our report on racism on Youtube for the CNCDH has been discussed in 20 minutes, Yahoo!News and on RTS (Forum).

I discussed about the notion of para-social relationships and our ability to form emotional links to AI-bots with Euronews.

I explained a few things about Skyblog and the evolution from blogs to social networks in Ouest-France, on BFM TV (Première Edition) and France Info.

I talked about the QAnon movement revival and the 2024 American elections on TF1 info / LCI, and to Le Vif/L'express.

I said a few words about disinformation in the Baltic countries and what we can take from their experience on TF1 info / LCI. 

Deepfakes and their impact on democracies was the topic of an interview with Diplomatie Magazine.

I have written in Pour la Science (French edition of Scientific American) an article reporting on my paper with J.-B. Camps on Molière. This paper was republished in Cerveau & Psycho.

We both co-authored an article in Le Monde regarding the use of forensic linguistics and its potential and limitations.

I co-authored a paper about sexism and religiosity in La Libre Belgique. 

We reported on our premiminary analysis on the Yellow vests movement in France in Sud Ouest, and on our final article in Le Journal du Dimanche (JDD) 

I explained the link between a plausible suspect for being the actual Q inspiring QAnon and theories surrounding an electoral fraud in the US then in France in A.O.C.  

I have given my views on the potential uses of new AI technologies for disinformation / misinformation / propaganda in Diplomatie.
