I am deeply interested in the study of macroeconomic volatility—its causes and consequences—in Argentina. My research spans several interconnected areas: trade theory, inflation, development economics, balance-of-payments problems in developing countries, and labor markets.
The results of my Master's thesis in Economics at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) were published in Metroeconomica.
My doctoral thesis built on several lines of research opened up by my Master's work. It examines the consequences and trade-offs of alternative approaches to stabilization programs (disinflation), with particular attention to their effects on income distribution and their consistency with external macroeconomic constraints. The related papers are published in Investigaciones Economicas, Journal of Post Keynesian Economics and Metroeconomica.
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher, participating in several working groups at the National University of San Martín (UNSAM) and the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), covering topics such as multidimensional poverty, capital flow controls, currency substitution, industrial policy, and talent management.

2023/2024: Fakultät für Wirtschafts- und Politikwissenschaften in Universität Rostock. I worked on my doctoral thesis on foreign trade determinants and currency substitution issues.
2023: Instituto Universitario de Investigación en Estudios Latinoamericanos (IELAT) funded by Banco Santander. I worked on my doctoral thesis and contributed to the Observatory of the Institute with this post, this podcast episode, and a coming publication in Papeles de discusión del IELAT.
