A bit about me...
In 2016, I got my degree in Economics at the National University of San Martín (UNSAM in Spanish). Then I started a master program in Economics at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA, in Spanish) and by the end of 2018, I was awarded a scholarship by UNSAM to begin a doctoral program. I am currently doing my doctoral studies at the UBA, working on stabilization strategies in emerging economics, labor market, and trade theory. I have also some contributions to poverty-related issues.
I have participated in different congresses and workshops for grads, where I met a wonderful community of students and professors connected with the same curiosity to develop creative ideas to overcome economic and financial challenges in developing countries. Argentina is not an exception, so my research is focused on Argentina's volatility and economic challenges. I really enjoy networking and attending presentations by colleagues on different topics to keep up to date not only in my field but in the discipline in general.
In my free time, I enjoy reading manga, comics, and novels. I really like painting and gardening. It is very relaxing to play with my crops and plants, I do it every morning before working. Because I like to interact with people of different backgrounds and perspectives, I find really exciting to learn other languages than English. Now I am trying with German and Chinese! Learning languages show us different perspectives of the same world.
