Utnapishtim
Author's Note:
This story is somewhat based on the flood myth from the Epic of Gilgamesh. Some changes were made between the original story and this one in order to make the story work as a kind of game. In the original story, when Utnapishtim tricks people into helping him building the boat, it's not just a few workers that help. It seems like the whole city, even the children, decide they want to help Utnapishtim go away. I changed that to give the reader/player more choices to make. Additionally, the original story goes into more detail about the flooding, the reactions of the gods, and the events following the flood, but I mainly wanted to focus on the preparation for the flood instead of the flood itself.
