Pearl Onyx

Have you heard of zombie chickens? The Pearl Onyx have earned this nickname with their varying degrees of fibromelanosis (dark waddles and combs) against shimmering pearl feathers flecked with black. So striking! This unique hybrid is new to the Flock City lineup in 2026 and we're excited to learn more about them. Experienced keepers say that the Pearl Onyx thrive in social environments and are known for being friendly and curious hens. They are also excellent layers of medium sized brown eggs.
