Green Queen

Her feathers come in a variety of fun colors and her eggs are green! What's not to love about the Green Queen? Since no two look the same, this is a great breed to have in multiples! This beautiful and hardy hybrid chicken is a wonderful layer of large green eggs (approx 290 eggs/year) that will be a cool addition to your egg carton.  Feather colors vary greatly as do comb styles, number of toes, beard or no beard, leg color and leg feathering.  They're one of my favorites to watch grow up because they vary so widely each one brings a new look to the flock.  Please note that most Green Queens lay green eggs but egg colors can range from sage to aqua, with or without speckles, to even brown and pink.
