For High School Students

High School Students

Students in Grades 9 - 12 interested in pursuing a career in science should consider applying for the FLi Sci Scholars Program when the application becomes available. More details on can be found here.

Future programming may include sessions or workshops that will be available to all high school students. Details on those will be shared momentarily.

Finally, check out the science trainings page for resources and suggestions on skills to develop to successful acquire future research assistantships.

College Students

Students current enrolled in an undergraduate program who identify as FLi and are interested in joining FLi Sci are encouraged to contact us regarding opportunities to join the staff. At this time, all involvement is on a voluntary basis (though we do hope in the future to offer opportunities that are paid!).

For anybody who may not identify as a first-generation college student or grew up in a low-income household — but still wants to support diversity, equity, and inclusion — please consider signing up as a FLi Sci Ally.

University Faculty and Staff

In addition to buildiing a leadership team that is composed of FLi students at the undergraduate and graduate level, we are also always eager to partner with current academics — professors, postdocs, university staff — willing to advise on the development of FLi Sci. Please contact us regarding opportunities to join FLi Sci's Faculty Advisory Council or if you are interested in hosting a workshop.
