ELIZABETH'S MUSINGS

ABOUT ELIZABETH

#PASSIONATE  #RELENTLESS

With the patience of a saint (well, most days) and the tenacity of a bull, I've worn many hats in the education arena. From being a digital learning specialist to a professional learning coordinator, and now the Director of large-scale projects – I've mastered the art of organization, time management, communication, collaboration, and good old-fashioned hard work.

Teaching isn't just a job for me; it's a way of life. For nearly two decades, I've poured my heart and soul into shaping the minds of both students and fellow educators. Grateful for the opportunities I've had, I've become an educator with a wealth of experience and a zest for lifelong learning.

Armed with a bachelor’s degree in English, a master's degree in Educational Technology Leadership, and my principal certification, I'm not just educated – I'm a lifelong learner who sees the extraordinary in the seemingly mundane. I thrive on turning every moment into an opportunity for growth and impact.

But here's the fun part – I absolutely LOVE what I do! I'm on a mission to make learning a thrilling adventure for students and teachers alike by thinking OUTSIDE THE BOX. I dive into research, explore innovative methods, and focus on the learning outcomes rather than the tools or devices.

My goal? To inspire both students and educators to think, reflect, and choose the learning path that resonates with them, all while falling head over heels in love with learning!

As I look to the future with boundless optimism, I eagerly anticipate many more years of dedicated service to the students, teachers, and communities I'm privileged to serve. Oh, and did I mention my love for the Oxford comma, my trusty Maltipoo, Maggie B, and the undeniable charm of llamas? Because yes, they're all an essential part of this passionate educator's story!
