Llamas and chocolate make everything better.

Chocolate-covered llamas make everything taste better!

I am an educator. I have patience, endurance, and the tenacity of a bull (well, most days).

As a teacher, digital learning specialist, professional learning coordinator, and now, project management specialist, I have practiced the art and necessity of organization, time management, communication, collaboration, and hard work.

Teaching both students and teachers has become a huge part of my life, and I am grateful for the opportunities I have had to pour into the lives of so many people for nearly two decades!

I am educated.

I have a bachelor’s degree in English, a master's degree in Educational Technology Leadership, and my principal certification.

I am a life-longer learner and never cease to find the extraordinary in the seemingly ordinary and most mundane aspects of life! I see everything as an opportunity to learn and grow and to impact those around me for the better.

BUT more importantly, I LOVE what I do.

I look for ways to make learning more engaging and personalized for students and teachers by thinking OUTSIDE THE BOX! I research methods and strategies to give them options for showcasing their learning, and I realize it is not about the tool or the device but rather the learning outcomes.

It is my goal to influence both students and educators to think, to reflect, and to choose the learning path that works best for them, AND most importantly, to fall in love with learning!

I am optimistic about the future and look forward to many more years of service to the students, teachers, and communities I serve.

Oh, and I love the Oxford comma, my Maltipoo, Maggie B, and llamas!
