Welcome to flipX (“we”, “our”, “us”). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application flipX (the “App”).
(a) Personal Data
We do not collect, store, or share personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
(b) Usage Data
To improve the app experience, we may collect limited, anonymous usage data such as:
App version and device model
Basic interaction data (for example, button taps, feature usage, session length)
Crash logs and performance analytics (through Google Play services or similar tools)
This data is not intended to directly identify you and is used to enhance app performance, stability, and reliability.
(c) Advertising & Billing Data
If the App displays ads via Google AdMob or similar networks, those providers may collect advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) to show personalized or non-personalized ads. You can manage or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
The App may also use Google Play Billing or similar services to process in-app purchases (for example, to remove ads, unlock flipX Pro, or enable premium features). Billing data (such as purchase history) is handled by Google according to its own policies; we do not receive your full payment details.
(d) Camera, Captures & App Content
flipX uses your device camera to provide a live mirror/preview experience and may allow you to capture images (for example, screenshots or photos of the preview).
Camera Access: Camera frames are used to render the live preview on your device.
On-device Processing: Preview rendering, flip/mirror modes, overlays (e.g., grid), and capture composition are processed locally on your device.
No Upload by Us: We do not upload your camera feed, captured images, or related content to our own servers.
Sharing is User-Initiated: If you choose to save or share an image (for example, via the system share sheet, messaging apps, or social platforms), that content may be processed by the destination app/service under their own privacy policies.
(e) Local App Data (Settings & Preferences)
flipX may store the following information locally on your device:
App settings and preferences (for example, language, UI options, overlay toggles, Pro status flag)
Last-used modes or UI states (for example, selected mirror mode, grid on/off, timer settings)
This information is stored only on your device using local storage technologies (such as SharedPreferences, local databases, or similar). We do not sync this data to our own servers.
(f) Clipboard / Sharing Features (If Used)
If the App provides copy or share-related features, any copied content (e.g., text labels or metadata if available) is handled through system services on your device. We do not receive clipboard contents.
We do not store user data on our own servers.
App settings and preferences are stored locally on your device.
No personal data is transmitted externally by us, aside from what is handled by third-party services (such as ads, analytics, and billing) under their own policies.
We take reasonable measures within the scope of a mobile app to protect the data stored on your device, but you are also responsible for keeping your device secure (for example, using a lock screen, keeping your OS up to date, and preventing unauthorized access).
The App may use third-party services that can collect information used to identify you or your device. These include (but are not limited to):
Google AdMob – for displaying ads
Google Play Services – for analytics, crash reporting, and basic diagnostics
Google Play Billing – for handling in-app purchases
These third parties have their own privacy policies that govern how they use your data. We encourage you to review their policies before using the App.
The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
