Flightista - Terms of Service

Welcome to Flightista! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Flightista mobile application ("the App") provided by Janusz Polowczyk ("I," "my," "me"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Overview

Flightista is a mobile application designed to allow users to scan boarding passes and generate travel statistics such as routes, distances, and flight dates. Basic functionality is provided for free, with an option to subscribe for unlimited use of the app’s features.

2. Use of the App

• Eligibility: By using Flightista, you affirm that you are at least 13 years of age.

• Personal Use Only: You may use the app solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse the App or use it for any unlawful or unauthorized purposes.

3. Subscription Model

Flightista offers a free tier with limited functionality (allowing you to scan up to 8 boarding passes). After reaching this limit, a subscription is required to unlock unlimited boarding pass additions.

• Subscription Tiers: I offer two subscription tiers, monthly and annual, which provide access to unlimited boarding pass scans.

• Billing: Subscriptions are managed through Apple’s App Store. All subscription fees are billed through the respective platform according to the terms set by Apple.

• Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal charges will be applied to your account at the same rate unless otherwise stated.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

• Refunds: All purchases and subscriptions made through the App are final, and I do not provide refunds unless required by law. Any refund requests must be directed to the App Store, as applicable.

• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple account settings. Once canceled, your subscription will continue until the end of the current billing cycle.

5. No Data Collection or Retention

Flightista does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All flight data, including scanned boarding passes and generated statistics, are stored locally on your device. No user account is required to use the App, and I do not access or retain any personal information.

• Local Data Only: All data, such as routes, airlines, and flight dates, are stored only on your device. If you delete the App, all locally stored data will be permanently erased.

• No Personal Identifiable Information (PII): I do not collect or store any personally identifiable information, such as your name, email, or other contact details.

6. Intellectual Property

• Ownership: All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of Janusz Polowczyk or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

• License: I grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Limitations of Liability

• Use at Your Own Risk: The App is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind. While I strive to ensure accuracy in the information provided by the App, I do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any data presented.

• No Liability for Loss: I am not responsible for any loss, damage, or harm that may result from your use of the App, including but not limited to any inaccuracies in flight data, routes, or statistics, or any errors during the scanning process.

8. Changes to the App and Terms

I may modify or discontinue the App, or modify these Terms, at any time. I will notify you of any material changes to the Terms via the App or email. Your continued use of the App after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Termination

I may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Country/State], without regard to its conflict of law principles.
