Here is a list of popular colleges that require Courses & Grades:
Amherst College
Carnegie Mellon University
Hampton University
Loyola Marymount University
Purdue University
Stanford University
The University of Arizona
University of Minnesota Twin Cities
University of Southern California
University of Washington
University of Wisconsin-Madison
Here are some tips for filling out the "Courses and Grades" section:
Have your transcript handy: You can use your transcript to refer to course names and your school's grading scale.
Be precise: Include any honors, AP, or dual enrollment designations.
Take your time: Be meticulous and double-check everything before moving on.
Mark grades as "final": This means that it's the final grade you received for the course after it has been completed.
Instead of completing the Courses & Grades section on the Common Application, some colleges may invite you to complete the SRAR (Self-Reported Academic Record).
The Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR/SSAR) allows applicants to record and submit courses, grades, and test scores as part of your college application to participating colleges and universities.
Students will list courses and grades that have been completed, or will be attempted (e.g., senior year courses in-progress), for high school credit.
Note: SUNY NOT require the SRAR for in-state students.
