The FMCA purchased Fleetwood Falls Lake from Fleetwood Falls, Inc. (FFI) in July 2019. At that time, the principals of FFI, Tom and David King, wanted to insure the lake and its general surroundings would be preserved for future generations.
Fleetwood Falls Lake is approximately 2.5 acres and the total property totals 4.1 acres.
The lake is situated on the site of the original farmstead in Fleetwood Falls, which took advantage of the clear stream that now feeds the lake.
The lake is primarily fed by a creek, that originates from a spring in the valley that parallels Azalea Trail.
In addition to this, ground water and run-off from rain events flow into the lake from surrounding hills.
Being spring-fed and having a very small watershed, the lake water is clear and of high quality.
At its deepest point, the lake is about 25-feet deep.
Being safe and practicing good citizenship while enjoying the lake and its surroundings is of the utmost importance to the FMCA. Please address any immediate concerns with Janine by calling/texting, (980)228-0406. Life threatening emergencies should be immediately directed by calling 911.
