Hello and Happy Friday!
We may have received some snow this week, but better weather is on the horizon! It's hard to believe that Flat Rock is only two months away. I'm definitely excited for the race and from the directing side, we’re ready to go! I wanted to share a few items of interest with everyone.
If you are a member of our Facebook group, you know that we have two course preview runs scheduled - Saturday April 18th and May 16th - both at 8am, starting from 510 High Street, Dunstable, MA. We hope that you'll join us whether or not you plan to be at the race. Bring a friend! We'll do a 5-mile loop together and I've promised snacks when we are done. You're welcome to go out for more miles if you’d like!
Registration is open and capped at 90 participants. Currently, 54 people are registered, and that number has been steadily increasing. We do hope the race will sell out, as we'd like to make a good donation to the Humane Society for Greater Nashua.
Volunteer signups will be posted in the next week or so. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page and our website for details.
Prizes will be awarded to first male, female, and non-binary finishers in both the 5-Mile and 6-Hour events, as well as DFL (Dead F'n Last). Aiming for a course record? At least one of last year's winners is returning, so be prepared! You can find last year’s results and current course records on the website.
Have questions? You can learn more on our website or drop me an email at flatrocktrailrace@gmail.com.
