(☀️ The First Full Day of Summer ☀️)
Race Option 1: 5-Mile Run/Walk/Hike.
Race Option 2: 6-Hours with as many 5-mile loops as you like!
510 High Street, Dunstable, Mass
Join us for the inagural Flat Rock Trail Race on the first full day of summer, June 21 2025! Flat Rock has two race options - a 5-mile trail run/walk/hike, or a 6-hour race on the same 5-mile loop in the beautiful town of Dunstable, Massachusetts.
All proceeds from the races will benefit the Humane Society for Greater Nashua's building expansion!
Begin your race along the Mass/NH border, turning onto the old Nashua, Acton and Boston railroad bed before going over the stone Arched Bridge that the conservation area is named after. Next, you'll turn into the field that was the Ferrari farm and a former granite quarry. You will run through some stunning New England woods and peak on top of the former Blanchard Hill Ski Area, down through more woods to an aid station, back into the woods and another peak at the top of Flat Rock Hill. Descend the hill and cross the former farmland through some amazing single track trails before looping back to the start/finish. Each 5 mile loop has nearly 600 feet of elevation gain.
Hang around after the race to enjoy the the Tyngsboro-Dunstable Historical Society Annual Strawberry Festival and the Dunstable Regional Land Trust 'Art in the Barn' show! More details to follow! 🍓🖼️
Learn more about the race on our Race Information page!
Proceeds from the Flat Rock Trail Race will benefit the Humane Society for Greater Nashua's capital campaign to expand our building and provide low cost services to the community!
We would like to thank the Dunstable Conservation Commission as well as the Dunstable Rural Land Trust for the use of the property!
Flat Rock Trail Race is a welcoming and equitable race for all people including runners, pacers, crews, volunteers, and participants. All are welcome regardless of race, nationality, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, age, ability, or pace.
