DJ Schult

DJ Schult is the Assistant to the President in the North Wisconsin District where he is called to encourage, network and equip congregations to vigorously make known the love of Christ.  DJ was a LCMS teacher for 10 years, principal for seven years and has been serving at the district office since 2013. His current professional responsibilities include serving schools, leading NWD communications, and supporting churches in board training/strategic planning. After years of coaching high school cross country, basketball and baseball, DJ now enjoys watching two of his kids compete in college athletics and another compete in high school. He is married to his wife Sara.   


Dr. Chris Cody

Chris is the Education Executive (Superintendent) for the South Wisconsin District – Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. In this position, he encourages, equips, and advocates for the district’s 53 elementary schools, 6 high schools, and 33 early childhood centers.  Prior to accepting this position, he was the principal at Mt. Olive Lutheran School in Milwaukee. From 2002-2007, he was the 8th grade homeroom and middle school social studies teacher at St. Peter-Immanuel Lutheran School in Milwaukee. He has also served as an adjunct professor at CUW for the last 3 years teaching Educational Research for the Graduate School of Education and has served as an advisor for Capstone Projects and Theses. He is blessed to be married to his wife Megan, with whom he has two children, James and June.


Lois Stewart

Lois serves as the Mission Facilitator for Schools in the Northern Illinois District. Her responsibilities include supporting all Commissioned Workers in the NID along with planning teacher and principal workshops/conferences, school visitation, and support of the district schools. Lois has close to 40 years of experience as a teacher, coach, and principal holding Masters Degrees in Curriculum & Instruction and Education Leadership. She is a proud Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. Lois is married to Ron, a Commercial Real Estate Broker and Manager.


Travis Grulke

Travis has been serving in the role of Superintendent of the Lutheran Schools of the Michigan District since August 2017.  We as serving previously as the Superintendent of the Ohio District for four years.  Travis' first call was to Redeemer Christian School in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, as 7th grade homeroom teacher after graduating from Concordia, Ann Arbor, (Go Cardinals!) with his degree in Elementary Education in 2001.  He taught for six years and then stepped into the principal's office at Redeemer for six years.  In 2013 he finished his master’s degree in Educational Administration from Concordia, Wisconsin.  His three crazy daughters are his greatest blessing besides his wife Lori who keeps their family all running in the same direction while also teaching kindergarten at St. Paul, Ann Arbor.  Travis enjoys most things pertaining to his favorite teams… Tigers, Lions, Pistons, and Spartans (Go Green!).


Kevin Creutz

Kevin is the Education Executive (Superintendent of Schools) for the Ohio District – LCMS. He is a 2003 graduate of Concordia University Chicago with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education, and a 2011 graduate of Concordia University Nebraska with a masters degree in Educational Administration. Prior to entering the role of Superintendent of Schools, he was the principal at Central Lutheran School in New Haven, IN from 2011-2018. From 2003-2011, he was the assistant principal and athletic director at Zion Lutheran School, St. Charles, MO. He is a huge Cubs fan and enjoys spending time with his family. He has been married to Lauren since 2004 and they have four children, Caroline, Connor, Colin, and Corbin. 


Kevin Brockberg

Spanning public, private, and international schools in Early Childhood, K-12, and Higher Education, Kevin holds a PhD in Education Leadership from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. Certified in the United States as an administrator, classroom teacher, and physical educator, his wide variety of experiences range from inner-city Detroit Public Schools to the Hong Kong International School. As a visionary leader, he aims for collegial discourse examining instructional methodology and inclusive school cultures as research-into-practice for the Lutheran Schools in Indiana and Northern Kentucky.


Trip Rogers 

Mr. Trip Rodgers is currently serving as the Assistant to the President for Education and Congregational Life for the Central Illinois District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.  Previously he served in the Central Illinois as principal of Trinity Lutheran School, Springfield, IL and a teacher at Concordia Lutheran School, Peoria.  His teaching ministry also included Valley Lutheran High School in St. Charles, IL and Lutheran High School of South Florida in Davie, FL.  He graduated from Concordia University - Ann Arbor with an Associate of Arts, Concordia University - Chicago with a Bachelor of Science, Barry University - Miami Shores, FL with a Masters of Science, and Illinois State University with a Certificate of Advanced Studies.  Mr. Trip Rodgers and his wife Sue celebrate 36 years of marriage.  They have two daughters, both graduates of Lutheran schools and teachers in Lutheran schools.


Albert Amling

Albert has been serving in the role of Education Executive of the English District since July of 2021.  His first call was to Trinity Lutheran in Grand Island after graduating from Concordia, Nebraska in 1981.  He served at St. John Lutheran in Orange, CA and at Trinity Lutheran in Mequon, WI and retired as Principal of Hales Corners Lutheran School in 2021.   In 1991, he finished his master’s degree in Educational Administration from Concordia, Wisconsin.   His wife serves as the Principal of Trinity Lutheran in Racine, WI.  He has five grown children in which 4 of them serve in Lutheran Schools.  His greatest joy is when the family including eight grandchildren are able to join him at the lake.
